"Sawatdee Khrab!" That is how we say hello in Thai.

If you are a girl you will say "Sawatdee Ka".

When you are on holiday in Thailand, you will find many young Thai people  who can speak English. Most places you go to you won't have a problem. However, we like it a lot when we meet a foreigner who has tried to learn some Thai phrases.  So it's not a bad idea to learn some Thai languages before you visit Thailand. :-)

Some useful words you may need to learn

"Thank you"
Male = Kob Khun Krub
Female = Kob Khun Ka

"How Much"
Male = Tao Rai Krub
Female = Tao Rai Ka

"How are you"
Male = Khun Sabai Dee Mai Krub
Female = Khun Sabai Dee Mai Ka
